Sun-filled weekends and beach days are finally here. So its time to up your SPF game. But with all the different protection levels out there it can be really hard to figure out what's best for you. Is there really a difference between 30 and 50 SPF. SPF 30 is the most common level for most people and skin types. No sunscreen can block all UV rays, SPF 15 blocks 93% rays, SPF 30 blocks 97% of UVB rays and SPF 50 blocks 98% of UVB rays. So the difference is about 1% but every bit of extra protection can be beneficial if you are spending a lot of time in the sun. Most people apply less than the recommended amount which is about a full ounce, so the higher the number the better.
